She graduated with a BA in Visual Communication in 2011 from Herefordshire College of Arts and practised as a visual designer in the UK, Canada and Ireland for several years before going on to complete an MA in Illustration with the University of Hertfordshire in January 2019. Since graduating she has worked on a diverse range of projects with a selection of commercial clients. Her work is characterised by a colourful, graphic quality, reflecting her love of mid-century aesthetics and her background in design. While her practice is predominantly digital, Lydia relishes any opportunity to get her hands messy with traditional printmaking processes.
